Recently, I spoke with a client who had a background in social work and mental health with an interest in Cybersecurity. Together, we explored how her skills could complement the industry, and discovered an increasing demand for professionals with mental health expertise in tech—particularly as cyber professionals face rising workloads due to increasing attacks.

I also came across a role at Snapchat for a Trust & Safety Specialist. This position welcomes individuals with experience in safeguarding (social workers, teachers, etc.) to help protect users online. The role emphasizes taking action on abuse and safety incidents to keep users safe.
