• AMS Professorships (For established researchers taking up or recently started a full Professorship at a UK HEI; must be moving from overseas and typically not UK-based for more than 12 months prior to appointment)

Schemes open to applicants based in the UK (must be held in a UK organisation)

• Cross Sector Experience Awards (For individuals at any career stage in any sector who want to work temporarily in a different sector; must be based in the UK with an employing organisation; open to academia, industry, NHS, government, charity, private sector)

• Springboard (For ECRs in their first independent academic post at a UK HEI, within 5 years of appointment)

• Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers (For UK-based clinical lecturers/clinical trainees or veterinary specialists in training with a PhD/MD, holding a clinical contract at a UK institution; must not already hold substantial research funding)
